València. El Palau de la Generalitat ha acollit aquest diumenge la capella ardent del poeta Francisco Brines, mort dijous passat a l’edat de 89 anys.
El president de la Generalitat, Ximo Puig, el ministre de Cultura i Esport, José Manuel Rodríguez Uribes, membres del Consell, autoritats de la Comunitat Valenciana i la família de Francisco Brines han assistit a l’homenatge previ a l’obertura a la ciutadania de la capella ardent.
“Hui el poble valencià el que fa és reconéixer i donar-li una última abraçada a qui ha sigut, sens dubte, una de les seues veus més lúcides”, ha assenyalat el president de la Generalitat.
El president ha destacat que Brines, Premi Cervantes 2020 i Alta Distinció de la Generalitat, és una “referència espanyola, europea i universal” de les lletres, que llega una “poesia nascuda dels sentiments i les raons que ens uneixen a la humanitat”.
“Des del sentiment, l’afecte i la tristesa volem dir que la vida és un parèntesi entre dos nades”, ha dit Ximo Puig en al·lusió a unes recents paraules pronunciades pel poeta, però ell “no ens ha deixat el no-res, sinó un espai comú d’amor, de tendresa, de sentiment i de passió per la vida”, ha continuat.
